Westinghouse Electric was a powerhouse in heavy industry, electrical production and distribution, consumer electronics, home appliances and a wide variety of other products.  A series of downturns and management missteps in the 1970s and 80s combined with large cash balances led the company to enter the financial services business, such as mortgages.  It was a mistake that ultimately led to the further financial downfall, resulting in the sell off of assets and the merger with Viacom.  The Westinghouse Watt Meter iHorn is industrial and practical.  It is ingenuity in a form which was made in America and to survive the ravages of time.  No need to meter your reaction.
